There were a number of these warnings at every waterway....
That's why we asked KJ to check the depth of each of the crossings....we kept a careful eye....from the car!
Fruitbat falls. We all had a refreshing dip. No crocs. where there is fast flowing, clear water.
At the croc tent.
After a short hike, we made it to the "tip-of-the top". To the left of here, we watched Tuna and Queenies jumping out of the water. We were told by locals that they were being chased by sharks.
Another shot of the "tip" this time by air....
Kai keeping the pilot on his toes....asking lots of questions.
Our dear friend "Sandy" who watched over us at Loyalty Beach. She was a stray, with a wonderful, loyal and gentle nature. We were pleased to have her sleeping at our tent each night, especially when we had seen crocs swimming past us during the day. Sandy almost came home with us....if we were coming straight home, she would have. Needless to say there were a couple of tears when we left....from the kids of course!
Another visitor at Loyalty Beach, fortunately no mark was left on our tent.
And, another visitor.
Our campsite view at Loyalty Beach.
